Raliegh and Sharyl's Wedding

I had the amazing opportunity to fly to Sacramento last weekend to shoot Raliegh and Sharyl's wedding. Every detail was well planned out and beautiful! I felt so lucky to be a part of their big day. In case it's not entirely apparent, Sharyl is absolutely flawless and Raliegh is one handsome cowboy. I have loved editing their photos. It didn't take a whole lot to make their pictures look good. In fact, I'm pretty sure they are making my camera look good. We started the day at the Sacramento, CA LDS temple and took some pictures there. We then headed over to Old Sacramento. It had the perfect feel for their wedding theme. So on with the pictures... I had such a hard time picking favorites. Honestly, every image of these two together is a favorite! They're so perfect for each other and so in love that it made each picture perfect. But if I have to pick, I choose... these 25 [plus the one from my post below this].

Raliegh if you look at this, I'm sure you're already aware that your bride is gorgeous, but you are one lucky guy! I love editing her pictures, she's flawless. I hope to have their pictures done by the end of the week! So check back soon.

Van Koman Family

Can I just say that I love this family? Three extremely photogenic people that are natural at getting their photos taken, what more could a photographer ask for? That, and they're my friends! When I was in Sacramento this last weekend shooting Raliegh and Sharyl's wedding (more to come on that) I stayed with my friends Natalie and Jeremii and their cute little girl Hallie. And I had some time to take some family pictures for them. I love how they turned out! I'll have a disk in the mail to you tomorrow Natalie! Thanks so much for your hospitality and your natural model beauty!

More Film Noir

So I've continued to shoot some film noir stills. Here are some of my more recent shots. I know it seems a bit morbid, but hey that's film noir right? They're all about drifters and drama and a life of crime. So here we are... I think I'm going to start trying to take it from more of a fashion view from now on though.

Nick and Priscilla

I had never met Nick and Priscilla before but they were so much fun to take pictures of! Nick had fractured his ankle a several days before their shoot, but he was such a trooper climbing through the greenhouses and lifting Priscilla up. I was impressed! He didn't want the boot or the crutches in their pictures, so he walked on it and everything. They're getting married in July in the Redlands temple, and I'm so happy that these two people have found each other. I love love!
