White Family mini session

I had a little mini session with Nikki and Robby and their new puppy! Isn't she just the cutest little fluff ball? It was absolutely freezing so we weren't out there long, but when you're beautiful people you take beautiful photos, so it wasn't hard to find some favorites!

Michael Lake's 1 Year Portraits

Remember this cute baby boy? I photographed him at 1 day old! I can't believe a year has already passed and how much that sweet baby has grown. I especially love the baseball ones. There's just something about a boy in a diaper with a baseball cap on backwards that is just adorable.

Lydia & Logan Shattuck - Children Portraits

Here are some favorites from a shoot I did with Lydia and Logan. They are so cute and I'm so happy I had the chance to photograph them. I love the jumping on the bed pictures! They're my absolute favorite. Logan has the cutest little personality. He loved to snap pictures with my camera and loves to build spaceships with his legos. The best way to get Lydia to smile was having him around, hiding and playing peek-a-boo. She is so sweet. I had a great time at this shoot.

Josh & Taleya Married

Chelsey Heidorn Photography is getting a facelift for Christmas! It's a gift to myself. So you'll be seeing some changes around here and my website. I'm starting with a new and fresh logo, a new color palette, a new website, a new blog design, and a new way to post my photos. A little preview can be seen below, I'm test driving an idea with Josh and Taleya's wedding photos. 

You may or may not remember Josh and Taleya from their engagement shoot I did in Nashville over the summer. They are extremely photogenic and I loved all their engagement pictures. So I was very excited to drive to Salt Lake City and shoot their wedding. The weather was just perfect, blue skies but cloudy so the sun wasn't overbearing or creating harsh facial shadows. The day started out at the LDS Salt Lake temple. We shot around the temple for a while then packed up and headed to Park City. The day ended at their reception in West Jordan. I loved going through their pictures because there are so many that are just beautiful. It was hard picking favorites, but since I had to narrow it down, these are the ones I love the most. Enjoy!

I had to throw this last one in.. they creamed each other in the face with cake. As a bride I appreciated our nice, clean cake cutting, but as a photographer, the dirty ones are my favorite.

Chelsea's Etsy

Chelsea is one of my favorite people in the world! She has an amazing etsy shop (click here to check it out). I did a little shoot with her yesterday for some of her new items. My personal favorites are her scarves. If you're looking for a great Christmas gift I would suggest purchasing one of these babies! They're so cute. I have one, I got it last week. I've already worn it 4 times including to the wedding I shot on Saturday. Speaking of the wedding, check back tomorrow for some pictures!

Here are some of my favorites from a recent engagement shoot I did with Jaron and Alyssa. Talk about a beautiful, photogenic couple! Between his green eyes, her blue beauties, their perfect teeth and hair... their babies are going to be heart breakers! 

The Bonavita Wedding

A few weeks ago I had the incredible opportunity to fly home to Connecticut to photograph the Bonavita's wedding. Nick and Lindsey are a beautiful couple, and as you can see from one of the pictures, they're high school sweethearts, which is where I was fortunate enough to meet them both! I'm so glad I could be there to photograph their special day.
